Ivan the third reigned from the times of April 5th 1462 to October 27th 1505. When he was in charge or Russia it seemed different. it was dark and going through tough times. Ivan assumed control of Russia after his tragic fathers death. Ivan had two main policies, one of them being a Foreign Policy and then another being a Domestic Policy. A foreign policy in Russia is a policy that amplifies safe military and political conditions within Russia's' borders. A domestic policy are government programs, and administrative decisions which are directly related to all issues and activity within a nation's borders. Ivan accomplished many things such as he sent an expedition to the Artic. This may not seem like much, but back then it was. Ivan also accomplished buying Rostov.
The impact that all these accomplishments had on Russia even after he left his throne people said that his reign was, "militarily glorious and economically sound," and especially when points to his territorial conquering's and his centralized control over local rulers was something tht Russia has never seen before. Did you know that when Ivan the third died his throne was passed to his son. this continuing the Ivan the third family legacy. Another thing is that he was married when he turned 12. Yes that young maybe that impavcted his actions as a czar, the world may never know. |
